Slow Flow Breathwork Circle

Breathwork is recognized as a powerful practice that involves consciously controlling and regulating your breath to improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being. By focusing on specific breathing patterns and techniques, breathwork can reduce stress, increase relaxation, enhance focus, and promote overall health. The benefits of a regular breathwork practice are numerous, including reduced anxiety and depression, improved sleep quality, increased energy levels, better digestion, lower blood pressure and a heightened self-awareness. 

 

In the Elemental Rhythm Slow Flow Breathwork session, participants are guided through  specific, controlled, slower breathing rounds with extended exhalations and a guided meditation that activates the parasympathetic nervous system to bring you into a state of deep relaxation and contemplation.  Many people will experience an overall sense of peace and often an emotional release. The flow experience is perfect for all levels of breathwork experience participants and especially good for those who have experienced trauma or who struggle with more intense breathing patterns. This is a great way to start your week by regulating your nervous system as you prepare for the stressors of the week ahead.

 

*Yoga mats, pillow and eyemasks will be available. Please bring your own blanket, water, and journal/pen. 



NOTE: You are laying on the floor for the majority of the session. 

*If you are under the care of a physician for any of these conditions, please consult them before performing breathwork. Pregnant, have a history of seizures, brain aneurysms, torn retina, glaucoma, untreated high blood pressure, heart disease, extreme PTSD or are recovering from surgery. Although breath work is one of the safest healing modalities, there are contradictions and people with certain conditions should not participate. Please read the contradictions below and then read and sign the waiver in order to participate.
